Material testing has arrived

We’re excited to announce that Southbrook Fire Research now offers IANZ accredited testing to ISO 5660 (cone calorimeter)

This capability allows us to generate high-quality data on key fire performance metrics  including heat release rate (HRR), total heat release (THR), time to ignition, and smoke production. Supporting both compliance pathways and performance-based fire engineering.

The cone calorimeter is widely regarded as one of the most powerful tools in fire science, providing the data needed to better understand and predict material behaviour in fire.
